- 75% of total charter fee refunded
- 25% retained for operational costs
- Refund processed within 7-10 business days
- 50% of total charter fee refunded
- 50% retained for crew and operational costs
- Refund processed within 10-14 business days
- 25% of total charter fee refunded
- 75% retained for committed costs
- Subject to manager approval

3. Weather-Related Cancellations
3.1 Company-Initiated Weather Cancellations
When Marowyn cancels a charter due to unsafe weather conditions:
Option 1: Reschedule
- No additional charges for rescheduling
- New date within 12 months of original booking
- Same vessel type and package maintained
- Subject to availability
Option 2: Full Refund
- 100% refund of all payments made
- No processing fees deducted
- Refund processed within 3-5 business days
- Includes any add-on services paid for
3.2 Weather Decision Criteria
Weather cancellation decisions are based on:
- Environment and Climate Change Canada forecasts
- Marine weather conditions and warnings
- Captain's professional assessment
- Transport Canada safety guidelines
- Local harbor master recommendations
4. Emergency and Medical Cancellations
We understand that emergencies and medical situations can arise unexpectedly. For qualified emergency cancellations:
Qualifying Emergencies
- Serious illness or injury requiring hospitalization
- Death in the immediate family
- Natural disasters affecting travel
- Unexpected military deployment
- Court-ordered legal proceedings
Documentation Required
- Medical certificate or hospital documentation
- Death certificate (if applicable)
- Official disaster declaration
- Military orders
- Court summons or legal documents
Emergency Refund Terms
- Up to 90% refund with proper documentation
- 10% administrative fee may apply
- Case-by-case evaluation
- Must be submitted within 72 hours of charter date
5. No-Show Policy
If you fail to arrive for your charter without prior notice:
- No refund will be provided
- Full charter fee is forfeited
- Crew and vessel costs are non-recoverable
